It was yesterday morning. waked up around 4:30 and had a great quiet morning swing by myself : ) . Hooked up two stripers, one broke off and one was a "short distance release" after a great fight.; 9:06 AM

I think put a big Beaudex on that rod is not a bad idea either : )This reel (speedrunner) really help me pick up the slack line quickly which is very importatnt in this type of fishing. A very solid built reel as well.; 5:50 AM
