I have a wish...

It's really depressed me about the Pebble Mine project in Alaska... so I did this illustration yesterday. The eyes of the fish is hopeless... just like my feeling about the government in AK. relative link,it's a problem of an ice burg. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/22/us/politics/22mining.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

Mark...these painting is amazing. I can almost see a tear streaming down the gill plate of the male salmon.

This needs to be made into a print and used as a fund raiser for the cause.

Thanks for the kind words, Cameron,

It was really emotional feeling when I draw this fish... I felt if this is happening in North American. We all have some responsibility for it... I will do more sockeye illustrations this year...

Mark, Please contact me at scott@sportsmansalliance4ak.org. I would like more details on this painting and if you are going to produce prints. I work on the campaign to stop the Pebble Mine.

Thanks!
