Oops... the spots run away...

Pen and Ink are so fun and quick... I decided to add more quick strokes of watercolor. They somehow merge together pretty well and created some unexpredictable results... just like a Jazz band... : ) I like it!

Got to check a modern dictionary...
I do like the painting leave a certain space of imagination... that is the reason my background is always white... : ) well... I am not that good to paint/draw the background... be honest with you...

When you mentioned a jazz band, I also thought about the free playing-since I like to play that way. The cool thing about it is that amazing things happen when you don't expect it.

Mark, when we talk about the free improvisation, a book you would love came to my mind... It is called "Free Play" by Stephen Nachmanovitch, and it talks about improvisation in life and art. Check it out-I know you will love it!
