Hi Mark, thanks for posting this wonderful footage... This is river Tisza, which flows through Hungary, and partly through Serbia before it joins river Danube. The big Palingenia drakes are warmwater mayflies, and the scenes of jumping asp are delightful. More and more flyfishers in this part Europe chase asp, some use two handers/switch rods. Asp are true predators and love white streamers retrieved quickly under the surface...
