This wash is a bit similar to old chinese calligrapohic painting...
I was testing the new colors and see how they blended with each other (wet in wet)... on a sketch book. This turns out pretty good : ) I thought this would be a good style for kids. : )

Thanks Mark, that is what was so familiar about it (in a positive sense-it is beautiful.) Very impressionistic...there is something both ancient and modern in those old techniques. Timeless quality.

: ) Indeed... the impressionism leave ample of space for the imagination to chip in...I totally agree with you Vlad! Sometime I felt the painting was done...even the fact is few brush work... : )
I guess I am a lazy painter that try to find some good excuse...
