Arizona Desert Trip - after house finches











just got back from the desert Arizona, a really fun and wonderful trip! captured a lot of birds for the research, saw an amazing desert landscape, lots of cactus and wonderful creatures live in there! great friends companions are just ice on the cake... am I going to move to the desert?... hell NO!

Also, it was so much fun to visit you...and we did find a place. Now, all what is left is to slowly start packing. :-)

There is something so grounding about the desert though. I feel a sense of connection when I am there. Love the different flora and fauna. Looks like a wonderful trip!

I agree, desert is sooo coool!!! we saw cactus wren that she don't even care where she put her nest... black throated sparrow, hooded tanager,braided titmouse, broad billed, anna, broad tailed, magnificent, black chinned humming birds... it is a wonderful bird paradise...
well... beyond those... mountains and creeks are still needed to fulfill the unstable mind... ha : )
