Yes! Exactly! You have good eyes! : ) This was the visit to Japan from last year, about the same time of the year. The Suwas region. I test the AXISCO a little bit and really love it... but I did not make a purchase decision though... good rod... expecially for that size... just amazing... : )

Wonderful rod Mark!! Sooner or later, I'll have to build one on "Made in Japan" blank. I wish we had those choices in the States...

Combine your style with those cute blank... That would be a wonderful fishing tool! : )

I had a Axisco 3wt 7' 6 pieces rod before... and it was a great rod. Very soft and sweet feel. I gave it to my brother in order to lure him to the fiberglass world.. I think he loved it... an awesome rod for spring creeks...

Vlad...you would do wonders with a blank like this. How about a six piece Lamiglass blank?

Mark...that girl in the water looks like the "Japanese Hardy Girl" to me. HA...but change it to "The Axisco Girl".
