Hi Vlad, Thanks, this is the Lamiglas Spring creek 3wt 6'6 yes! You got a sharp eyes! It is Golden Witch cap and ring. I love this tiny rod... very soft and super delicated... I think creationbear (Jon) love it too...
Oh.... I have some good raw wood insert... You might be intersted in, if you turn your own reel seat I will give you some...very nice burl... see next post... : )
I like the color of that Lamiglas... It seems like a really nice light blank-it would be interesting to compare it to the yellow Lamis.
Thanks for your offer for the wood-it looks very nice! At the moment I am using a very light duty hobby lathe, which is excellent for turning cork, but not strong enough for the wood. :-(
I am a biologist grew up with a fishing rod in my hands. I have been fortunate enough to embrace my love of art and science in my career. Most of my free time were well spent in the nature, either studying bird behavior or chasing variety of fish with fly rods. My favorite art medium is watercolors, I love the natural and spontaneous feel created by watercolor pigments. I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow at Harvard University. Welcome to my website. Mark

Hi Mark,
I like that rod, reel and the reel seat. Is it a Golden Witch cap and ring seat? How do you like it?
